The Isuzu used locomotive could be found even offering 120hp with the 3.1L V6 and the 2.6L inline-4, but quickly upgraded to 175hp in 1993, greatly surpassing the Jeep Cherokee. The Isuzu Rodeo was a high performing small sport utility vehicle that offered much better power and performance than the Jeep Cherokee.
Many Isuzu used locomotive parts can be found for repairing the older SUV's for those who are still enamored by the drive it provides. There are also engines that can be found to keep the much later Jeep Cherokee alive, even for the oldest versions of the Cherokee, and the Isuzu as well. Finding these parts can be done online and within many used auto parts traders, allowing the Isuzu Rodeo and Cherokee lovers to continue to keep their small package SUV's going through the years.
